Landbier Frankisch Dunkel is a full bottom-fermented beer, robust and full-bodied in flavour, left in its natural state and dark in colour. The classic selection of special roasted malt and pale barley malt is grown in Franconia and the spring water from the Fichtel mountains endows it with its typical character and the fine malt fragrance. Brewed in the good old-fashioned way, it develops over a long fermenting and maturing period to emerge as a very well-balanced and extremely agreeable specialty beer. A dark lager beer with a flavour of caramel and bread crust.
